where do i start.. i moved here not knowing much before i moved out yesterday, i have regretted every day and second of living here. there are little kids playing and screaming around outside no matter how early or late it is. nothing here is worth the price. once you enter an apartment building hall it smells and they charge you for the simplest things like asking them to come in and check the smoke detector or fridge because it seems to not work. the location is amazing but the apartment complex..not so much. they charge over 400 dollars even for living there for the first week of you last month of your lease. to summarize this. pick another apartment to go to before you make a big mistake living here. i had to argue with the office about some payment issues.

My mother and I moved in here after her abusive ex boyfriend kicked us out with a 30 days notice. So we moved in here after they promised a better life, and we made them aware of our tight money situation that would result in our rent coming in slightly late, but would always be paid within a day or less after the due date. This was the status quo, and though they harassed us, we had a stable life, right up until they took us to court. My mother complied, and they hit us with $3,000 in fines, however, promised us they wouldn't kick us out, as their corporate lawyer said they weren't about "kicking people out". It's been 2 weeks, we've been scraping to pay the rent, which has been ON TIME since then, also minding the fact that they laid on MORE fines to increase the debt from 3,000 to 4,400. However, they're now giving us a 6 day notice to pay the 4,400, in 6 DAYS, or they're going to Evict us. "Madison Lifestyle", whatever corporate name you go by. You've ruined my life, you've hindered my future, and now it's the middle of winter, and both of us have to life with the fact of being on the streets in 45 degree weather. Your apartment quality is terrible, sounds of domestic abuse, screaming, and obscenely loud neighbors litters this place. Your construction workers are either inexperienced, or ignorant, as they start work at 5am, not to mention how they left light bulbs hanging out by their cords for 2 weeks straight, with the ceilings exposed, the several hazards this could pose. This is unarguably one of the darkest times of my life, and I will make sure, every day I spend on the street, I will make sure people know how your greed, immoral behavior and practices, conniving nature, resembles that of, or now even worse than my mom's abusive boyfriend, and how staying here will result in their life being hindered, or even ruined, due to how they're liable to suck them into a pit of debt, and will spit them out like trash, as the owners of this place, do not care about anyone, as long as they get their money.
